Elegant cottage

We built this house from scratch. Having been given carte blanche by my clients, I used my favorite images of Norman architecture, cozy cottages in Deauville, and classic cottages in Northern Europe. The joinery on the first floor is a gray patina, on the second floor it changes to patinated oak, light, very natural, all textures matte and as exposed as possible.
