URBAN RESORT HOUSE

This house is situated in a residential area.

It features a design that brings out the abundant attractiveness of natural materials.

Firstly, the walnut wood used in the wall and furniture brings warmth and stability to the space. The camphor tree plank, placed as an eye-catcher from the entrance over the dining room, show the wood’s natural hue and unique grain pattern, providing a visually pleasing experience as well as tactually rich one.

Next, the use of stone material gives the space a powerful impression. The stone wall located in the center of the living room is impressive with its natural texture and color hue. The texture complements the warmth and softness of the wood, creating a beautifully contrast. The stone material not only adds a natural beauty to the space, but also adds depth to the design.

In addition, the abundant natural light from the courtyard, which functions as an outer living space, further enhances the attractiveness of each material. The shifting light enriches the expression of the space over time, allowing the residents to feel the change of seasons and the rhythm of the day.

Thus, despite its location in a residential area, the three elements of wood, stone, and natural light are blended to create an urban resort that combines the warmth and sophistication of nature.
