Project is gold winner 2022/23

Light and shadow

The guest house had already been built when the designers started working. At the request of customers, they adjusted the facades, clearing them of unnecessary decorative details. The project also makes one doubt that behind the high lancet windows there is a village near Moscow, and not a French countryside.

The biggest advantage of the house is, of course, the large volume and height of the ceilings, a large number and a beautiful view from the window to the garden, it all captures, so we removed the accents from the windows and doors. As the sun moves, a play with light and shadows erupts, the window layouts suggest intricate shadows on the wall. We deliberately left these walls without art,” designers of the project say.

When using upholstery, despite the fact that they are almost all in milky color, we combine different textures. We use boucle, jacquard, patterned fabrics and wool - all this gives complexity to the interior.Bedroom
