Rift Table

Rift Table uses hemp connect the interior to the exterior processes that engender it (in this case, Kentucky agriculture). The design begins with the hemp plant in an unprocessed state. The near weightless stalks carry a compressed and systematized version of themselves (a composite of the plant and a soy-based adhesive called Hempwood).
