Blooming Moments
“Blooming Moments,” a home decor set comprising a bowl, candle holder, and vase, draws inspiration from diverse stages of flowering. This inspiration is translated into various curves to abstract the contours of petals and water lily leaves, conveying a kind of buoyant yet gentle vitality. Despite originating from the same inspiration, each piece of the set is uniquely designed with a different approach to folding surfaces into petal-like shapes. This thoughtful design, akin to the composition of symphony movements, aims to create harmony among the pieces while maintaining their individual characteristics.
This design is realized with the use of powder-coated steel sheets cut by water jet and CNC-crafted black walnut wood. In each piece of the set, the steel sheet is attached to the wood by being sandwiched between two wooden pieces securely bonded together, without using any hardware.
