Maranthus light

The Maranthus light is inspired from vegetation and aquatic life, with influences from parametric and minimal surface design.

We wanted the light to evoke feelings of calm and comfort while at the same time fitting in in multiple home environments. The reflections created by the faceted sides and the gradual dropping of the drop shape create an interesting lighting experience. The oval shape and egg-like matte top transform into harsher shapes, creating a balance through difference or shape and material.
