De Vine

De Vine is an interactive wine rack which allows users to store wine into an artistic wall feature. Inspired by a plain weave, three configurations developed, allowing the wine bottles to be placed vertically, horizontally. Using Rhino & Grasshopper 3D computer generated structure by analyzing parameters of conventional wine bottle types, which create units be able support better stability for wine bottles in standard bottles in varied shapes. Carved by using CNC router. It is a piece explores and pushed s the boundary of a traditional wine rack becoming more than just a place to store wine. The wine rack itself becomes a piece of art.
