Terms and Conditions

1. BASIC PRINCIPLES 

The following terms and conditions shall constitute the sole contractual terms governing participation in the competition for the The “Feeel Design World Prize” (call for submissions) as agreed between ХХХХ and the participant. All the activities related to the communication of the Prize will be uploaded and visible on ХХХХ.com.

2. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION AND NOMINATION

The competition is open to all businesses whose products are listed in at least one of the following categories:

*If necessary, ХХХХ reserves itself the right to change/reorganize the listed categories

Participation is reserved to the ХХХХХ active Members, that is brands that have already subscribed an ongoing product publishing agreement with ХХХХХ. For all those brands – not yet advertisers – interested in participating in the ХХХХ, it is necessary to subscribe an Annual Membership on ХХХХХ.

It’s possible to submit only a single product, not an entire collection. If the product is part of a collection or product group, please choose the product sheet on ХХХХХ that best represents the collection or group.

Only the products (or one of its varieties) introduced into the market or published during the period from ХХХХ to ХХХХ are admitted to the competition. Upon request, the participant may be asked to provide ХХХХ with an appropriate proof. Each participant is allowed to candidate up to 5 products. Participation in the competition itself is subject to a binding online registration and a subscription fee.

3. JUDGING

An experienced jury  – including architects, designers, influencers, creative directors, style experts, major figures in the the world of specialized Architecture and Design media and the ХХХХ editorial team – will evaluate each candidate taking the following particular aspects into account:

The list above does not imply any ranking order for assessment by the jury. The jury‘s decision shall be definitive and no legal recourse will be permitted.

The voting procedure will be divided into two main phases. After collecting all votes expressed by the jury a Longlist will be created, including all those products that will access the final phase of the Award.
Winners will be chosen among the longlisted products.

4. REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION FEE

The participation in the ХХХХ begins when the participant completes the registration procedure on ХХХХХ.com and nominates from 1 to 5 products. If the product is part of a collection or product group, please specify the name of the single product  – already published on ХХХХ – that best represents the entire collection or group.

The participation is confirmed and completed upon payment of the registration fee.

The registration fee for the competition is ХХХХ + VAT per product entry, up to 5 products. It can be paid via Paypal, credit card or bank transfer.

Entries to the competition will only be judged by the jury after the entry fee has been received.

In any case, the participation fees cannot be refunded.

5. MENTIONS AND PRIZES

The jury will select the winning products for each category and those who will be awarded as “Feeel Design World Prize 2020 Winner”.

* In case of impossibility of withdrawing, winning brands and designers may request the delivery of the award. All costs will be charged to the addressee. Estimated cost: 50 euros.

6. TIMING AND COMMUNICATION

Applications must be received no later than 14/09/2020 ХХХХ.

Both the longlisted products and the winners will be announced between ХХХХ.

If necessary, ХХХХ reserves the right to hasten or delay the dates.

**ХХХХХ officially supports the communication activities of both longlisted and winning brands.

The longlisted brands will be informed about their nominee via e-mail. They’ll also receive a kit including graphic resources and the “ADA Longlisted 2020” logo, to be used to tell everyone about the goal achieved. 

We’ll prepare a customized kit of resources for winning brands, so they can share the news with all their leads, on social media and online.

At an early stage – when the call for entries is still open – we don’t support brands in their communication activities. Upon request, ХХХХХ may provide them with the The Prize logo, to be used together with the “Nominee” word. 

This specific must follow the logo anytime, anywhere. Declaring anything different might be likely a backfire, since the product could not be neither among the longlisted nor the winners.**

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Products which breach intellectual property rights (trademarks, logos or brand labels, utility models, patents or similar) are barred from participation. All participants will be responsible for informing ХХХХХ whether legal proceedings (involving competition law, patents, trademarks, disputes about copyright or other rights) are pending with regard to submitted items. The participant shall be solely liable for damages, and particularly claims by third parties, resulting from an infringement of these conditions.

The copyright of contributions submitted to the contest (photographs, videos and texts) remains with the respective participant at all times. The participant grants the right of use and the right of publication to ХХХХ. The participant is not entitled to claim a compensation fee for usage. By registering, the participant consents to this usage.

8. CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT, PLACE OF JURISDICTION

By filling out the registration form, participants accept the rules of the competition as set out in the documents dispatched with the call for submissions and in the terms and conditions herein contained, and they further agree to take part in the exhibition. The place of fulfillment and place of jurisdiction for the contract shall be ХХХХ.
