Shepherd – Acoustic Screen
About Project
Shepherd is an acoustic stand-alone screen that also functions as a coat hanger. It is made from PET Felt, recycled PET that becomes a new felt material with acoustic properties. The accessories are from natural wood. Two coat hooks for functionality, and two legs for balance. All materials are sustainable. Shepherd is also a flat-pack product with removable hooks and legs.
The production process consists of:
Production of the PET felt body using a thermoforming process – formed to a specific shape in a mold, and trimmed to create a usable product. Pet felt is known for its acoustic properties.
Production of the accessories, from natural wood of different types.

The accessories are from natural wood. Two coat hooks for functionality, and two legs for balance. The shape is inspired by the shepherds that roam the Carpathian mountains. Always with a cloak on their back and a cane in their hand.
