About Project

OLO light has been developed quickly in a week, featuring development of shape, output, lighting unit and movement / interaction. It features an organic shape aimed to fit nicely around a tube style bulb which allows for a 360degree light output. This allowed for the main USP of the product, which is the spinning lamp casing, which allows for user interaction in terms of the lights output direction.

Made using, ABS, aluminium.

• Short description of the project:

  OLO light is a lighting unit which has been focused on the user interaction and light output- the user is able to rotate the shade into the desired position in order to get the light beam. This has been inspired by student life around universities where light is not optimised around learning centers and class rooms. This light it able to function as an ambient light or a focus area study light, aimed to help concentrate on a given object or task.
