KOMSA bar
About Project
An interior design of a small bar-coffee house in Minsk, Belarus. The bar is located in a building from the early 20th century. Brick walls and authentic terrazzo flooring serve as a begining of a project. The original brick walls have been restored and varnished, while the new ones have been painted gray. The original radiator from those times has also been preserved. Gray is the only color present in the project. It integrates walls, furniture and ceiling. The warm shade of the brick walls contrasts with the cool gray in the textures of plaster, paint and wood. All furniture (exept bar stools) where made by author specially for KOMSA project.
