About Project

The project gives users who are on-the-go a place to sit, connect and relax while their devices charges. Powered entirely by solar energy, it features a power-bank that’s store clean energy to juice devices like phones, USB-powered devices or electric bicycles batteries. It will be handy for those who use phone or electric bicycles in their everyday errands in the city, while it will serve as an ordinary bench for others. Supporting USB charging, e-mobility, and Wi-Fi connectivity, it can become part of infrastructure around parks, schools, sport and hotel or restaurants.

The project features 4 individual modules : a solar panel module with integrated Li-ion Battery to store solar energy and 220V / USB sockets, and Wi-Fi Hotspot, a small planter, a large planter, and a seating element. These modules can be combined to create limitless forms of varying dimensions. The modules function not only as just ingredient parts of bigger arrangements but also completely independently as one-person seats.

The project has been developed as a response to the current trend in connectivity, e-mobility and to inspire a sustainable lifestyle that is effortless, without sacrificing design. There is a world where renewable energy can be user-friendly, and ridiculously cheap And most importantly, they’ll reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. We’re not going to be able to go off the grid overnight, but we can take small steps to getting there.

Materials : Galvanized powder-coated steel structure / planters made of Ultra High Performance Concrete / Seats made of Linseed oil proofed pine wood boards
