About Project

Being required to use ceramic to design a household product, I designed a hanging set of three products; ceramic salt and pepper shaker, a small ceramic plate with a cutting board, a trio of basic elements needed for a food experience.

out of personal experience and other’s collected in my research, I discovered a general problem for people who live alone. they desire cooking or eating less than people sharing their homes, with designing a practical and always-present set, I intended to encourage the habit of eating, specially dinner.

the compactness of the tools designed in a modern touch with a very old material. the plate slightly showing facade to keep liquid in, a similar but differentiable salt and pepper shakers, design inspired from modern architecture, all hanging on a massive piece of wood, two of the most natural and sustainable materials in the food industry.
