Candy clock
About Project
The main idea for this design was to create a minimal clock with simple and uncomplicated elements. The typical minute-and-hour-hands have been removed and incorporated into the face of the clock, helping to represent a seamless design. The clock is simply made of two disks; the larger outer-disk placed as the base, and the smaller inner-disk overlapping the center of the larger disk. In order for the user to be able to tell the time both disks have a groove cut down to almost the middle of the circle. The line cut on the larger-disk acts as the minute-hand, and the line cut on the smaller-disk acts as the hour-hand. The larger disk is made of painted aluminium, and the smaller disk is made of translucent acrylic with a variety of colour options.
