Arches Coffee table

Arches are one of the most fascinating architectural forms. Many of the world’s most impressive structures whether man made or natural have arches incorporated in the design. Natural rock formations, ancient civilizations’ builds, historic bridges or monuments – all continue to fascinate us with elegant, delicate and powerful arches. Yet modernday building technologies have gradually phased out the structural need for arches. The aim of this project is to revive the arch in our everyday lives. Bring this architectural beauty inside our homes.

My arches’ round coffee table is designed for architecture lovers as a symbolic reminder of the beauty and elegance of arches shapes. The table is created from a coated metal frame with glass on top. Spherical motif is enhanced with the pearl-like metal spheres set on the upper face of the table bringing jewelry techniques into traditional furniture craft. The pearl-like spheres can also be replaced with a string of led-lights creating a magical ambience glow. Designed and created: February 1d, 2023.
