Rocky Projset is an innovative project that recycles insulation materials that were intended to be discarded after construction and transforms them into beautiful furniture. The key to this project is to transform it into beautiful furniture instead of discarding the remaining insulation materials during construction.

Insulation is essential during the construction process, but parts that are cut into ambiguous sizes and cannot be used are divided into small pieces and discarded. This is a regrettable situation where additional costs are incurred to dispose of insulation. I’ve been watching the ironic situation of throwing away healthy insulation materials for a long time, and I’ve conceived and planned a project to recycle these materials and turn them into furniture, not just for disposal.

Styrofoam, such as isopink and gold foam, was used in construction and it was light and durable enough. The light but hard insulation found potential as a whole piece of furniture and gave birth to Rocky Throne. Light insulation forms the overall structure of the chair, so it’s not heavy and easy to move, and it was intended to create an overwhelming feeling of sitting on a huge rock by thinly applying concrete over elaborately carved insulation.

Rocky Throne is the perfect choice for those looking for a special experience. Modern design and natural beauty harmonize to make the space more special and mysterious. This time, experience special moments with Rocky Throne, which is like an artwork, rather than just a chair.
